Detection of Emergency Situations based on BCI during Driving

The aim of this study is to develop a simulated driving environment for studying neural correlates of emergency braking in diversified driving situations. We investigated to what extent these neural correlates can be used to detect a participant?s braking intention prior to the behavioral response.
